Star Pro Smog

if I could give 0 stars I would. I came here this morning looking to see if I could get an estimate on my car for a o2 sensor and a smog since I was looking to get my tags up to date. The guy that helped was nice enough to run the tests n tell me what I needed, and I did exactly that. Later this afternoon I came back after driving my car until the code cleared expecting my car to pass since the engine light cleared. As soon as I went back I expressed how the car is fixed and if I could do the smog, the guy looked like he questioned it at first and I told him I could show him the receipts and all of the part being changed. he did not hesitate to take the keys tell us to go in the waiting room. He then gave me the paperwork to sign. Shortly after he comes back in saying that the car did not pass because we “had someone clear the lights” mind you he said this multiple times too . The assumption is what offended me more than the actually failing part because I don’t even know anyone who would and could do that. And if that was the case don’t you think I would done that to begin with? he then proceeded to say that I have to drive me car for 100 mi return and my car will pass. This is ve

It's was a very easy experience... It was my first time there. He was fast and efficient not to mention cheaper than my usual spot. He had a small waiting room with a tv and air cooler ... It was very comfortable. I'll definitely go back next smog check.

Shady guy. Did not want to honor coupon and got upset when I informed him of it. I called this shop to ask if there was wait time and pricing for out of state smog to get registered in CA and to see if it was any different than a regular smog. He said its same type of smog and gave me a price of 58 dollars for my specific car year/model. When i came to shop sure enough no wait time he pulls my vehicle into bay and start getting it ready. About 5 minutes pass than he comes it with paperwork for me to sign and pricing is still 58 as he originally told me. While i was waiting i went on their website to leave a POSITIVE REVIEW and came across an online coupon they have for 39.75 I kindly said i had seen their coupon online and if i can use it. He immediately got upset and said “I already told you the price over the phone” i replied i understand but i just saw this and would like to use it since service hasn’t been started. He than said try to say i couldn’t use coupon because my car was big (Lexus Sedan) He just got more upset and started being rude saying he did not cheat me or lie to me. I told him i understand and I’m not saying you did. But i came across the coupon and would simpl

Very friendly and help full. Great price! My truck didn’t pass smog the first time because my canister wasn’t responding. He told me to drive it and every time I came to him, he would check it for me to advise me. No, it’s not ready. No charge so very helpful. Got it fixed and now it passed!
